Sunday, April 1. Our 9th Annual Wine, Beer, and Liquor Tasting. 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. NEW LOCATION, - Leicester Country Club. Enjoy beautiful views of the club’s golf course, and their open decks, while you taste some of the best domestic and imported wines, beer, and liquor. Enjoy and relax! There will be tables for seating to discuss your favorites. Raffle & silent auction. The Leicester Country Club will be open for casual-dinner.

Bay State Equine Rescue Annual Sponsored Trail Ride - July 8th, Ride Back in Time to Help Horses and Preserve History!
STURBRIDGE, MA - Take a ride through yesteryear when horses were the only way to get around. Bay State Equine Rescue joins forces with Old Sturbridge Village for the BSER Annual Sponsored Trail Ride on July 10th. Riders can enjoy a trip through time as they travel through downtown OSV and into the beautiful surrounding trails.

There is no fee to participate. Riders simply solicit sponsors from friends, family, coworkers, neighbors, and others who want to support this worthy cause: supporting equine friends in need of rescue and Old Sturbridge Village. Preregistration is $50 by July 2 and $65 after July 2, with T-shirts given to riders who raise $75 or more, and prizes for riders with the most sponsorship money. Everyone gets to enjoy brunch afterwards, and horses are even rewarded with treats. The 3-, 8-, and 11-mile rides are also eligible for NEHT miles http://equineexperts.com/neht/.

Event registration starts at 6:30 AM and ride-out is at 7:00AM.

Horse of Course benefit event at Whip-O-Will Stables in Dudley, MA on Sunday, September 23th, 10 a.m. - 5 p.m. Come learn about horses and help the Bay State Equine Rescue. The day will include raffles, horse-themed games for all ages, a silent auction, seminars on horse care, demonstrations for different disciplines, and riding clinics. Throughout the day, there will also be pony rides, arts and crafts, face painting and Tarot Reading. Catered food will be available for purchase throughout the day, too. Kids of all ages can also visit the ducks, chickens, and other farm animals.

Admission to the Horse of Course benefit event will be $5.
